Beyond resolutions: An invitation to Paint & Pray

• What if your New Year intentions could become more than a mental checklist—what if they could sink into your body, your hands, your whole being?

• Imagine settling into stillness, brush in hand, watching pigment bloom across the paper as your intentions take shape in unexpected ways.

Paint & Pray invites you to slow down and dwell deeply with a single verse or sacred text. For this New Year's workshop, we'll also be dwelling deeply with our intentions for the new year. You'll be gently guided to go beyond mere resolutions and goal-setting and to anchor who and how you want to BE this year through this contemplative painting process.

Over the course of our time together, we'll use intuitive painting not just to illustrate these words and intentions, but to absorb them, to sit with them, and ultimately to move beyond them. Your brush becomes a form of prayer, your paper a space for listening. As colors flow and layers build, you'll discover what emerges when you give your full attention to the Spirit—allowing sacred words to settle into your depths and transform you from within.

You'll leave with a personal painting imbued with your intentions—a visual anchor you can return to throughout the year—and a practice for staying connected to what matters most.

No painting experience necessary. No artistic skill required. No perfect outcome expected. This isn't about creating something Instagram-worthy—it's about creating space for what wants to emerge through you. Just bring an open heart and a willingness to be present. This is your time to devote attention to what truly matters, to let beauty and meaning nourish your soul.
